Green Finance has come a long way, we draw your attention to the data on Slide 2. Within the next quarter of this century, green(environmental) derived businesses are likely to form its own sector globally. Its growth pace will only speed up, not slow down - the global green bond issuance from 2021 to 24 (full-year) is a powerful testament of the potential. 5-year CAGR (2018-23) indicated that sovereign and non-FI (financial institutions) green bonds grew the fastest, at 47% and 37% respectively. The hike of green bonds happened in 2021 (ZoomIn Issue no. 48).
